Before you start
What kind of photo works best?+
One clear, front-facing photo where the face is well lit and not obscured. A normal phone photo is perfect. Avoid sunglasses, heavy beauty filters, extreme angles, and photos that are already blurry or heavily cropped.
Do I need more than one photo?+
No. Every scene works from a single photo. Memorial and pet talking use one; anniversary scenes also use one — the motion is generated, not stitched from extra shots.
Can I use a very old or damaged photo?+
Yes, this is exactly what the memorial scene is for. Older prints usually work well because expressions are calm and frontal. If a photo is torn or badly faded, results can be softer — try our photo tips on the scene page, or choose a different photo of the same person.
How long does it take?+
Usually a few minutes. Most renders finish in under five minutes; you can leave the page — the video keeps rendering and appears in My Videos when ready.
Credits & payments
Do I need a subscription?+
No. BondReel is pay-per-video via prepaid credit packs. Nothing renews automatically, and credits never expire.
How many credits does one video cost?+
It depends on the scene: Memorial costs 4 credits, Anniversary 6, Pet talking 8. Each scene page shows the exact cost next to the Create button before you commit.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes — every scene includes one free preview render so you can judge the quality on your own photo before buying credits.
What happens if a generation fails?+
Credits are refunded to your balance automatically and immediately. You only pay for videos that are delivered. No support ticket required.
Can I get a refund on purchased credits?+
If you have used none of a pack, you can request a full refund within 14 days. Partly used packs can be refunded pro-rata within the same window. Full details are in the refund policy.
Privacy & likeness
Do you use my photos to train AI models?+
No. Photos are used only to generate the video you asked for. They are never sold, shared, or used as training data.
Can I use a photo of someone who has passed away?+
Yes, with the understanding that you should have the family's consent. The memorial scene was built for this, and we deliberately keep it gentle rather than theatrical.
Who owns the video you generate?+
You do. We claim no ownership over your generated videos, and you can use them personally — including posting to social media. Commercial use is fine as long as the photo rights were yours.
How do I delete my photos and videos?+
From My Videos you can delete any generated video. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email support and we will remove it within 30 days.
About the AI results
Will it look exactly like the person?+
The face is preserved, but this is generated motion, not a recording. Results are strongest with a clear frontal photo and a calm expression. Expect subtle imperfections — hands, teeth and background edges are where AI video is weakest.
Can the video be longer than a few seconds?+
Currently every render is a short clip of a few seconds, which is what the models handle most reliably. Short clips are also what people actually share.
Can my pet say specific words?+
You can type a line and the pet's mouth will be animated to match it. Keep lines short (a sentence or less) — long paragraphs lose lip-sync accuracy.
Is this the same as those viral 'bring old photos to life' apps?+
It is in the same family — AI animates a still photo. The difference is intent: we focus on three specific, respectful moments (memorial, anniversary, pet) rather than a shallow filter, and we refund failed renders automatically.
